It is currently 1 in the morning and I just submitted a paper a couple of minutes ago. So because I had a cup of coffee at 8, I am wired and feeling inspired by music. (My paper was actually on music, vinyls to be exact.)
This month of October has been so damn beautiful to me, musically. My calendar has me going to at least one show a week and if I’m really lucky, I am graced with two shows. For example, I saw my favorite Hozier TWICE this week. My life is all YESSES right now!
October calendario:
October 7: I saw Ben Howard & Daughter at the Greek which was suuuuuperrr chill. Need I mention the amount of baes that occupied the venue! Jesus take the wheel. But it was definitely a couple show *GAG* *CRY* *LAUGH*
October 13 & 17: I saw my favorite live performer, Hozier, at the Microsoft Theater and at the Ace Hotel. I have seem him four times this year and I am still not over his talent. I am obsessed with the way he plays the guitar, obsessed with his hands to be exact. Weird? You fucking bet! His fingers are so long, it’s scary and sexy at the same time! HAHA. Please, I can not tell you guys enough, if you ever get the chance, go catch him live. “WORK SONG” IS THE BEST SONG.
October 22: I am going to see LANY at the Lyric Theatre! The main providers to this summer’s playlist. Yo. Paul though. What a sight. That jaw line could cut meat. & that HAIR. Oh GAWD. Let me run my fingers through your hair right quick.
October 23: I’m PLANNING to see LANY AGAIN, but with MOTHER FUCKING TROYE SIVAN. This was just announced earlier today and I totally LOST MY SHIT BECAUSE Troye's show at the Roxy sold out SO FAST. His EP is currently giving me LIFE. LIFE. LIFEEEEE. Tickets actually go on sale at 8 in the morning so if I don’t wake up on time, I do not know what I would do to myself. (NOTE: It's almost 2 AM).
October 27 & 29: The following week is WALK THE MOON WEEK. Walk the Moon at Kimmel and at the Greek, HOPEFULLY. I love Danielle even more for inviting me <3 I've seen WTM so many times that I've lost count, but I never get tired of them because I am always up for a dance party!!!!
I totally got carried away with this post and instead of giving you my Fall playlist, I gave you my Fall concert calendar of October. HAHA I apologize. Anyway, here is my mainstream list that I can think of right this second as I slowly fall into a slumber:
