It's Sunday morning and.... well this post is coming in a couple days late, but better late than never right?
Anywho, on Friday, some homies and I decided to play catch up with Janel over dessert in DTLA, so we decided to go to Syrup Desserts on Spring St.
We got your basic Nutella strawberry waffles cause we're honestly so basic, but there's lots to choose from on the menu.
Then we decided to walk around sketchy Downtown to visit the Last Bookstore! Which was all of our first times. I was always so jealous of my other friends because they would make frequent trips to this super cool super hip place. (hehehohohaha) There was an event going on, but it wasn't too crowded cause we went on a Friday night and I don't think people hang out at bookstores on Friday nights... just the really cool people like us. oh and probably because everyone was at Coachella, duh.
There are so many things to look at and it's just so wonderful and overwhelming especially if you love to read. Unfortunately, I didn't get to look for any because, like I said, it was just so overwhelming and we were on a bit of a time crunch.
YUP, that was our mini adventure. We tried to go to the water and power DTLA view but parking sucks on Fridays. So that first photo I have up there was the best I could get.
I think I'm pretty darn lucky to be living in the ghettohood that I'm living in. It's literally in the middle of everything... convenient right? very. Well, I guess it's time to get ready and spend this Sunday crying over work that needs to be done for collegio. #LAME.
