Life Update!

Hola world! So January is over (obvi) and we're already six days into February (I don't even know how) and as I sit here on my very own reading chair, I contemplate whether or not I've had a good month and six days. Let's recap shall we?

Lately I've been getting in quick hikes at least once a week since the year kicked off. My calves are getting all muscular which is freaking me out a bit, but luckily these inclines aren't as difficult as they used to be. Soon enough you'll see me running the entire trail as if I were in my high school's cross country (but I doubt it because I don't run...)

The Monday before the spring semester began, I went to Kimmel to see Vampire Weekend with my girls.

I've been riding the train with my buddies. We are honestly the loudest things to ever board OCTA 26. Our clique is only growing each day, I'm not even kidding you.

I guess that's my favorite part about commuting to and fro campus, I get to meet so many people. It's always nice looking forward to meeting a stranger and hearing their story and life experiences. (I swear some people go through crazy shit, it's absolutely insane). But riding with Sabrina and Jalissa is just as entertaining as mingling with strangers.

The weather has been pretty gnarly in LA, although a bit odd, but most definitely wonderful. Arra, Steph and I went on a mini adventure to the beach. Something we don't usually do. I think we take the ocean for granted because we know it's always going to be there... and because traffic and parking sucks in Santa Monica haha!

I went to Sky Zone in Van Nuys for the first time on Tuesday with Sarah, Diane, Gerald, Martel, and Kuya RJ. As of today, I am still sore. Who knew trampolines could make you so tired? I sure didn't. That foam pit though was a struggle.

We also went to Dave & Buster's last night and I won myself a Unicorn that is currently occupying the back seat window of my car. That's Diane photobombing "Miss Lancelot's" photo shoot.

Went to Griddle with my favorites (minus a few). That's Michelle, Ruz, Steph and Bea engaging in "conversation" at the table. HAHA.

& that's me frowning at the fact that school is still school. Luckily, my classes have been pretty sweet. So hopefully as the semester progresses, I'll still be content with life.

I guess this past month and six days has been quite lovely. (Those photos up there are just the highlights.) Warm winter weather, bonding with my badass friends, delicious food, simple adventures and the lot.

Honestly hope that you are all being blessed with the happiness that I am oh so ever jammed with. Until then... ENJOY THE OLYMPICS BECAUSE THEY ARE STARTING NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
