Happy New Year!

HOLA! Happy New Year :) I hope you all had a pleasant celebration like I did. 2013 flew by so quick, so quick that I still haven't been able to keep up. Nonetheless, it was an amazing year, one for the books. There were so many laughs and smiles shared with the people I love most and I'm so very grateful for that. 

I'm not going to lie, this 2014 celebration was a bit underwhelming in our neighborhood because people were missing and it just wasn't as crazy as previous years, but it was still nice to be with friends and family (I hardly took pictures which is so unlike me!). I was surprised and delighted to find lanterns sprinkle over our little community, making it a slight Tangle moment, it was cute. 

After the midnight celebration, Sarah, Martel and I headed out to a friend's house which led to an entertaining evening, or morning to be exact. I don't like to drink so it's always amusing to watch others get hammered. 

So during the wee hours of the morning, I discovered my OTP. May I present to you... Trisha and Jomari! If this comes off as a little creepy, I'm not going to lie, it kinda is, but yolzlo they're my OTP. (oh and HELLO GUYS! if you happen to see this:) I also need to mention the heater that saved me that evening/morning. Unfortunately I do not have a photo of it, but it truly was a lifesaver. It was a smaller version of those heaters they have on patios at restaurants and I'm making this heater situation a big deal only because I don't do well with cold weather.

ANYWAY, we left at around 6 am and Martel wanted some hashbrowns so we went to McDonalds before going home. I saw a bit of the sunrise which reminded me of UK Skins because... well that was normal for them. Once we got to my house, I removed my makeup, stripped,  put on some comfy pants and headed straight to bed! Later that day, I woke up at 2 pm thinking it was 10 am. I've never slept in that late before, not to my recollection at least. We hardly saw the light of day because after our late lunch it was dark again and we went out bowling to continue our new years celebration! (yeah, we party hard).

Mother came with us and paid for our food (thank the lord). I killed it our first game but totally failed the second time around. As a consequence for losing the second game, I have to split paying for funnel cakes when we go to Six Flags... I guess it isn't that bad, but still... I LOST. haha. Now I'm home, typing this for you and for myself. It was a great first day for 2014! IT IS TIME TO GET BACK TO THE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE BECAUSE ALL THIS EATING FRIED EVERYTHING NEEDS TO STOP. DETERMINATION IS KEY.

Happy New Year again everyone! Change is inevitable and I can't wait for what is to come.
