Travels

This year I was given the opportunity to finally get on a plane and jet off to a different country, but opposed to just visiting one , I went to three! It was my first time leaving the U.S. of A which made it all the more exciting. I was able to join my godmother Angely, her daughter Alyssa and her sister Ate Gen. Throughout the three weeks, several other people joined in on our adventures in the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. I know this is an extremely late post, but better late than never right? Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip. ENJOY!
Food from my FAVORITE restaurant in the Philippines. Early Bird Breakfast Club at the Fort, Philippines.
Buy a plate, break one. Isdaan; Tarlac, Philippines.
Tour around Vigan, Philippines in calesas. The local kids were running after us with their bare feet.
Finally got to drink out of a plastic bag! I was literally too excited about this. The one underneath was taken at a church in Paoay, Philippines.
Church in Paoay, Philippines. One of my favorite visits.
We found this little device to be our best friend although it didn't always work. It's portable wifi and yes... it meant we couldn't survive without the interweb.
Sand duning in the Philippines. It resulted in a series of bruises, but I didn't find because the ride was a thrill. We actually got off of the jeeps and went sand boarding as well. Let's just say I didn't have a graceful landing.
Patapat bridge and some meditation.
White Rock formations, pointing out to the middle of nowhere...
Hiking with these breath taking views to the Kabigan waterfalls.
Met Bedam and his family to and fro the falls.
Our pool at the Hanna's Resort in Illocos Norte. We were able to zip line over a huge portion of that ocean. I was terrified, but the experience was incredible, one I won't forget.
2 dolla dolla bills in Singapore.  (and a nasty bug bite)
The view in Marina Bay Sands was STELLAR! Big ups to ate Jennie for the hookup!
Singapore; the cleanest city/country EVER. Wish I had a decent picture of the chicken rice. That was my favorite meal... like EVER. I think... I may be exaggerating, but it was infact so good.
Elephant trekking in Phuket, Thailand
Island hopping in Phuket. Watching gorgeous foreigners (Canadians) rock climbing, taking pictures at the penis shrine and swimming with the fish. (I couldn't bother with the snorkeling)
Canoeing in caves with bat shit landing on your leg.
The food in Thailand was delicious, like it's hard to explain the party in your mouth when you're eating thai food in Thailand. They even cooked pad thai on a boat at the floating market!

Did I mention that I got to ride an elephant TWICE in Thailand? AMAZING.

& that concludes my presentation on the unforgettable trip I had this summer. It's one for the books, most definitely. I'm so grateful to have been taken by my godmother and her family. We visited several cities in the Philippines and I even got to meet my fave filipino dude, Enrique Gil! We drove up north, visited churches, hiked, zip lined, went sand boarding, ate incredible food, met so many people, did some charity work, went to Singapore, stayed at the COOLEST hotel EVER, did some sight seeing, ate more incredible food, flew to Phuket, stayed in a beautiful villa, rode elephants, visited temples, went to Bangkok with more temples, more sights, more of everything. It truly was an experience.
OH LOOK! THERE HE IS :) It was a mission for us to get to meet him. I just wanted to go to ASAP and see him dance, but instead I got this. WHICH IS WAY BETTER. We visited him on set in Alabang. I'm a lucky girl. I got kisses which meant I must've died.

I hope this isn't the last I see of the world. Europe is next on my list. It will happen! I will make it happen! So maybe as time passes, I'll be able to upload some more photos from this trip and future adventures, but until then...

Lucia
